Mother of the Kings

Ken Dedes, queen of Singasari. She was the the consort of the founder of kingdom of Singasari, Ken Arok, and the great mother of Rajasa Dynasty, the royal family who later ruled Javanese kingdoms. She was later considered as the origin of the lineage of kings that rule Java through successive kingdoms of Majapahit, Demak, Pajang, Mataram, and todays Yogyakarta and Surakarta.
